Low Price Rectangular-shaped Inductive Proximity Sensor
The GL-N12 series can be reliably mounted without an exclusive mounting bracket. A positioning boss is provided on the bottom face of the sensor to prevent rotation. Offered at a low price, the GL-N12 series is recommended to large volume users for cost reduction.
A wide variety of 16 types are available. This includes front/top-sensing types, normally open/normally closed types, and an alternate frequency type, which allows close mounting of multiple sensors. Output polarity is available in NPN and PNP.
It achieves a sensing range of 4 mm (0.157 in), and can reliably detect an object even if its position varies slightly. Also, the sensor has IP67 protection, so it can withstand contact with water.
