LED Type Optical Displacement Sensor

The LH-50 series of LED displacement sensors provide a high precision alternative to laser based systems. A safe, red LED light source is used to achieve a resolution as high as 2 micrometers with a beam spot of 1.6mm or less (LH-54). The three available sensor heads are compact and lightweight, allowing for easy installation in tight areas. Three controller types are available for optimum coverage of applications. The general purpose, LH-CL6(P), allows for simple and basic functionality while the high-function type, LH-CS6(P) offers advanced control using built-in functions. The LH-CD6(P) expands on this control by adding support for a second sensor head, making it simple to perform actions such as thickness measurements.
