Head-separated Digital Pressure Sensor
The DP5 series of digital pressure sensors offers a separate head design for unparalleled ability to be installed in tight locations. Offering a quick connect style design, users can select from 2, 5, and 10 meter cable lengths are well as optional high flex cable for use on moving applications. The easy mounting pressure head features a free-turning pressure port, which helps in installation and allows for positioning in any direction. Also integrated into the pressure head is an easy to read LED indicator so that the ON/OFF condition can be checked without requiring that the user look at the amplifier. A total of 10 different heads are available with various options for port size and pressure range. These types include:
- Vacuum Pressure Type
- Pressure range of 0 to -101.3kPa
- M5 male thread
- R (PT) 1/8 male thread/M5 female thread
- NPT 1/8 male thread/10-32UNF female thread
- 10-32UNF male thread
- Positive Pressure Type
- Pressure range of 0 to 1MPa

- Compound Pressure Type
- Pressure range of -100 to 100kPa

Designed with a super-fast 1ms response time, the DP5 series is perfect for use in high speed manufacturing lines. Two independent outputs (PNP or NPN) are built-in along with an analog voltage output.
The controller is designed to be lightweight and compact for optimal placement in any application. The bright, two-color display is easy to read from a distance, and incorporates two operational indicators.
The DP5 is equipped with several time saving modes and functions to make set-up and use simple:
- Auto-Referencing/Zero-Adjustment Function
The auto-reference function monitors the reference pressure and adjusts the threshold value to compensate for the reference shift. Alternatively, the zero-adjustment function forces the reference pressure to zero prior to taking a pressure reading. The result of either method is an incredibly stable reading in the midst of a highly fluctuating reference pressure environment. - Leak Test Mode
Utilizes the two comparative outputs along with the auto-referencing function to provide accurate and stable leak detection. - Hysteresis Mode
Allows for free-range hystersis control for optimal hysteresis setting. - Window Comparator Mode
This output mode provides a user determined pressure window in which the output is either ON or OFF. This is perfect for applications in which there are high and low pressure limits.
